Creating opportunities
In March 2016, we co-founded the platform that established one of the first dedicated private equity infrastructure funds in the Andean region. Lakestone provided seed capital, strategic direction, management, business guidance, and access to global partners during this pivotal early phase.
In December 2016, we partnered with Aberdeen, a global asset manager, to expand infrastructure equity investments across Latin America.
In September 2017, the fund vehicle was launched to implement our shared investment strategy.
At present, the investment period and execution of equity allocations has been successfully concluded, and the team is working on managing and enhancing the portfolio.

Investments
Lakestone is an investor in the Andean Social Infrastructure Fund I LP, one of the first dedicated private equity infrastructure funds in the Andean region, alongside global institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments, and insurance groups.
The fund targets social and transportation infrastructure investments under Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) agreements, focusing on projects such as hospitals, schools, public buildings, roads, ports and railways, across Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay.
